Running Over Cancer 5K

Run, walk, or jog alongside a team of 12 local high school students as they host the 17th annual Running Over Cancer 5K to benefit the American Cancer Society.  The ROC5K is the primary way this student-led group raises money, thus earning a coveted spot in Oregon’s Hood to Coast relay race, a.k.a. “The Mother of All Relays” with over 12,500 entrants. To date, this team of local high schoolers — consistently the only high school team and the largest fundraising team — has raised over $1 million for the American Cancer Society.
